The building blocks for well-rounded martial training and
real-world self-defense.
The FCC curriculum was boiled down over time to eliminate the "fluff" and "busy work" that still exist in many combative systems. What we left were the most directly-applicable techniques for modern self-defense. There are three domains for these techniques:
Footwork and empty-hand striking along with necessary defenses.
Standing clinch-work, throws, and ground grappling methods.
Both blunt weapons and edged weapons are taught.
The Foundational Combat Certification (FCC) uses a progressive system of resistance when training which allows the student to quickly develop proficiency in their techniques.
This introduces the technique to the student and shows how the technique is applied to another person.
Partner drill together, picking up both speed and resistance while maintaining the integrity of the technique being trained.
Training partners each work toward an objective while their partner approaches full resistance. These games include various levels of sparring.
The FCC Certification allows students to begin their journey into the five subsystems of American Brokil. The process of getting your FCC takes three easy steps:
Locate a local instructor or reach out to one of our online instructors and begin learning.
Work with a training partner to drill the material you learned. Video progress and continually send updates to your instructor.
Complete the examination on the techniques, drills, games, and didactics of the system.
Once the student has passed the FCC Exam, he/she can then move onto The 5 Subsystems:
